We love airplanes!

Every time we drive to my parents house Emma gets way excited when we drive past the airplanes at Hill Air Force Base. I've wanted to go to the museum for a long time and we finally decided to go today. Casey was happy to find out that it was free...that's always a plus. Before we left I told Emma to eat her lunch so we could go see the airplanes. I guess she thought I meant we were going to ride on one so she was asking me to bring her coloring books. I didn't know what she meant until she said, "Do airplanes have food on them?" I then told her we were just going to look at them. We had a lot of fun and they have tons of airplanes to look at. I didn't realize how big the museum was. And they have an interactive Education Center for kids that was a lot of fun. I've always liked to read historical fiction books about WWII so I was really interested in that part of the museum. I had a lot of mixed emotions. I can't imagine what it was like to fly one of those planes during the war. I just think it would be so scary, some of those planes aren't very big. I've always had a great respect for the military but it was neat to see those planes close up. It gave me even greater appreciation for what they do. I would definitely recommend checking this place out. Oh yeah, I forgot my camera so I don't have any pictures. I kept thinking the whole time, that would be such a cute picture! I hate when I do that.
