I'm so excited!

I was flipping through my Hometown Values magazine the other day and what do I see...an ad for "Disney on Ice: Princess Wishes." I immediately wanted to get tickets for me and Emma. Emma is obsessed with all the princesses. Her favorite is Cinderella but she loves all of them. I knew this was something she would love to go to. I've never been to Disney on Ice so I'm not sure what to expect. I hope it doesn't disappoint. I told Emma about it and she's very excited. It's not until March 15th so I will have to be patient. I love all the princess stuff that they have now. I don't know why they didn't figure out this marketing scheme when we were little. I loved all the princess movies. Watching them with Emma has been fun. I just barely got "Little Mermaid" for her. I'd forgotten how much I loved that movie growing up. I still have a lot of it memorized. I'm also surprised at how scary some of them are. "Sleeping Beauty" is definitely scary at times. I love being able to live my childhood over again with my children. Kids definitely keep you young.

That sounds like fun! I think it's neat that you take Emma to things like this. I remember very vividly the time my dad took me to the Harlem Globetrotters and when my mom took me to see Champions on Ice during my Michelle Kwan obsession. I think it's important to do these kinds of things with your kids once in a while because your kids will always have these memories.

I am so sad that Princess on Ice is not coming to Iowa. :( Nemo on Ice is coming here. :( You will love Disney on Ice, we have been to a couple and they are so much fun. The kids are so entranced and love every minute. It's even entertaining for adults, at least I though so. Take lots of pictures so my girls and I can live vicariously through you and Emma.

Yeah for you girls. When Macy gets older we will come with you. Oh did you know Casey wants to go on a man-date with Jared. Do you think we need to be concerned?

I can't wait until I have a girl and can do things like this. Did you know Brittney and Aubrey are going too?
